CHEROKEE Little Uniform Stretch Skinny Pants & Capris for Girls' Clothing Review

I was very surprised when my petite 5 year old girl planted size 5 plants that arrived and didn't fit. They were actually too short, which never happens with my daughter because she is so small. I trusted the product description that it was true to size but that is not our experience. For me it was a waste of money. I am extremely disappointed.

My daughter is neither tall nor short, she is 9 years old, average height and weight. She had outgrown her school uniform at a size 8 and I *tried* to get her a better size 10. These pants are skinny like an 8 at the waist and long like a 10 in the legs. Worse, they're spiky, the fit is long (the seam of which rubbed against her legs all day making her comfortable) and one of the buttons fell off the first wash.

I bought these in size 5T as a uniform for my very tall 3.5 year old. At that age I put cuffs on my bottom and over the years they started to fit better. I deliberately chose this pair because many other reviewers have mentioned that they are too skinny for their kids. I have a skinny kid (perfect for the Carter brand, swims in garanimals) so I was excited to read this and try it. I love that these pants have an adjustable waist and are durable and comfortable.
