Chezmoi Collection Gitano Jacquard Patchwork Review

My husband and I recently had to change the firm brown comforter on our bed. I wanted something more interesting and ordered the Gitano Jacquard Patchwork 7 Piece Duvet Cover Set from Chezmoi Collection. I love this duvet with pillows and blankets! The fabric is soft and textured, the detailing is beautiful, the colors are bright. My only "warning" is that the actual colors are a lot lighter than the promotional image. I think my only complaint is that the bed skirt is red instead of maroon. It

This set has been on my bed for four years and I am ready to replace it. This quilt looks great at first glance, but over time it will wear out. Because of the pattern, it will look "wrong" if it's not completely straight. And I had a problem with the padding offset where in some places there was more and in others almost nothing. I also found this duvet to be too warm for comfort (ha!) in the summer. But beautiful shades of precious stones. Personally I don't need or like a small round pillow…
