🔵 Chicago Latrobe Cobalt Finished with Reduced Finish Review

My analysis of this product showed that it is the perfect fit for all industrial and scientific drilling needs. The cobalt reduced finish ensures that the bits are incredibly durable, and the smooth finish allows them to easily cut through even the toughest materials. One downside is that they can be a little pricey, but the quality definitely makes up for the cost. Overall, I highly recommend these cutting tools to any hesitant buyer looking for exceptional performance.

I had a few chips on both cutters after going through 1/8" mild steel once (with lots of oil ). I have never experienced anything like this with cobalt bits in a similar price range.

Almost 5 stars. The chisel easily cut holes in 3/8" zinc plated steel brackets and 2" steel drawbars. I used a drill press and lots of oil. One of the two cutters had 2 small chips after drilling through 3/8" stock. As this is a cobalt bit I wasn't shocked but I was less than thrilled. Revain handled it. Thing when drilling a 2- Inch bar The nature of the animal with cobalt I think Even with small chipping on a cutting edge the chisel still does a good job.
