Chicology Free Stop Cordless Curtain Privacy Review

These cordless blinds filter light without darkening the room. I love that it just needs to be gently lifted or pulled with 1 or 2 fingers to scroll these shades up or down. Very smooth operation and you can stop at any time to get just the right amount of light. I've been waiting to write a review for almost a year. They still work great. No questions. I also bought a smaller width to use on my patio door (pic 1). I look forward to replacing all my faux wood blinds with roller blinds.

Beautiful, modern blinds that fit into almost any interior aesthetic and for the price, at least for temporary shading solutions, tick the bill. However I was disappointed with the colour, which appears to be more of a golden beige than the mocha I ordered to complement the floors etc. Second, the gaps on the sides are significant. I bought several of these for our windows and ended up only two. The umbrella has very nice and smooth wireless controls, but the wireless mechanism takes up a lot of space on the sides of the headboard. We bought four of these blinds for our office and the concept is very good. Being able to go from filtering the light and seeing what's going on outside to closing the window in the evening is very handy. The only problem we have are the gaps on the sides as well as the bottom. There is a 1 inch gap on each side of the lampshade to accommodate the mechanism at the top, which we don't like and now we need to add decorative wooden slats on the side to close the gaps.
