I just received them and found them quite comfortable. (I'm a small adult with small feet.) I wanted thick, soft socks and that's what I got. You went through the laundry once. I'll try to remember to update this if anything changes, but so far so good. Note: They shrink a little and leave marks on the legs. But all my socks do that to me. After wearing the socks for the first time they started to pill/pucker on the feet (there was another review saying the same thing). I bought these for my 10 year old but straight out of the box they barely fit my 7 year old. They are difficult to wash as they are cold and do not dry at any temperature - just air. I like that these socks are a bit fluffier and warmer than many baby socks I find on sale. They don't have grippy materials on the bottom, however, so they're very slippery.
