Sturdy. Was able to adjust to my 40 lb dog. Of course, due to the design, you have to clamp the pins to put them on or take them off, but you can get used to that.

This collar is made of nice, thick and durable metal and will make the dog more obedient on a leash. My only issue was that it started to fade after just a few uses.

My dog hates carrying it but it's the only way to get him going without him jumping all over the place. It is much easier to control than with a regular collar, harness or padded leash. The only thing I don't like is that it's a bit difficult to take off and often falls over.

This chain necklace really helps control our 75 pound beast. In fact, he really likes his new "jewel". The only downside is that it tends to "break" unless it's around the neck. The spiked links come loose in one place and my husband has to put them back together. It might just take a good pair of pliers to fix it permanently.

This is an easy to use collar for large dogs. It was a game changer for our dog during our summer walks. They're a little difficult to pull over the ears, but they hold up well and have just enough slack so they don't naturally choke them. It's also very easy to control, we've had others twist and roll if you don't put them together correctly and this one makes everything easier as it slides over the dog's head.

If this collar were a little bigger I would happily give it five stars. We have a yellow lab and we can barely put the collar on and off his head and ears and our lab is only 85 pounds not around 250 pounds. It measures exactly 19 inches around the neck but his head appears to be at least 20 inches. Once it works like a charm! This is amazing! My 65 lb Catahoula pup was terrible on a leash and would pull you to the point of leaving leash marks on you.
