Buy it! Laptops in Computers & Accessories

I mainly use this Chromebook for online college courses and it suits my needs perfectly. I am actually considering buying another one for my son who has definitely experienced this item himself. He dropped it multiple times and still no cracks on the screen. He mostly uses it in tent mode for the camera but he doesn't save it at all and I haven't had any problems with it at all. More recently, we had to use it for his online training as well. It's big and very user friendly. I had an issue with

Phantom Touch Menace

This is one of 4 chrome books in my house. We like it mostly, but there's one major issue with the touchscreen that renders touchscreen, pen, and tablet modes unusable: it registers phantom touches constantly (every 30-60 seconds). It's like a ghost touching the screen in random places. .document entry? Expect the cursor to move randomly through the text. Are you working on a spreadsheet? Expect to have to enter random cells. watch the video It will pause/resume the pause randomly. Do you read…

Arrived at the desired time.

Too early for an up or down recommendation. I bought 2 books for my granddaughters who were home due to the COVID-19 school closure. Getting a Chromebook was important because the books contained programs that my granddaughters couldn't access from a computer. S.'s books arrived in perfect condition and my granddaughters were delighted. So far they have been working great for a week. They could access ALL their school programs. I have to add that these C.books were in high demand when I tried…

I'm very happy with my ASUS Chromebook

I only upgrade computers when it's necessary, but when I do I do a lot of research to find the best value for money. I find my ASUS fits the bill as it has everything I need for less than $400. I made the mistake of paying another $50 for a script pen as I've never used it and can't imagine ever going to. Other than that, I've only had two issues with this laptop. First, the touchscreen doesn't respond when I try to close a tab, since I often try to close a tab multiple times and end up having…

Had to return - computers and tablets

Liked the form factor and performance. But the screen wanted to go out of the frame. Other reviewers have mentioned this. A bigger problem was that the SD card slot worked intermittently. The card is electrically "ejected" during operation and I am warned not to do so as it may damage the card and cause data loss. Asus support made several suggestions and finally concluded that I should return it.

The right choice for me

I'm a longtime Chromebook user and am amazed at how far these highly affordable laptop replacement parts have come. I've overcome the limitations of my latest Chromebook by dual booting Linux, but thanks to new features and app availability, my new ASUS Chromebook Flip C214 2-in-1 laptop is able to do almost anything I need without Having to play PC games. . My favorite features are the ability to flip the C214 over and use it as a drawing tablet. I used to have to lug around my big laptop when

Quality of the product is at the level, I will recommend this product

For me, using a Chromebook has been a very interesting experience. So much so that I even decided to write a review, because little is known about them. If you need a tablet with a keyboard, then this device may suit you, although, of course, you will then have to get used to the keyboard under your fingers and in tablet mode, but this is not so scary. This Chromebook is designed specifically for students. As a typewriter for lectures it is quite suitable. All his programs work very fast…

Pros
  • + Loads native programs very quickly, chrome works faster than on a laptop with Intel core i7 + I did not charge it so often, even at a low percentage it takes a long time + There is a touch screen and support for Google Play Store + I liked the keyboard, I found it very comfortable
Cons
  • - Not all android apps work (vk just didn't turn on for me) - Some applications from the Google Play Store open like on a phone, but should determine that it is a tablet (I hope that these minuses will be fixed in the future) - Not all movie codecs are supported
