Compared to interchangeable matches I've found the following: Pros: - less expensive - comes with a case - greater variety (most packs seem to only reduce the number of needles by 4) Cons: - cable isn't as flexible as it is makes maneuvering difficult - space. where the metal connects, the cord doesn't wash off and so the yarn gets caught every time you try to get your project back on the needles.
