Tips too small to use

Quality is always good but the tips make them too small to use effectively. I wanted to use the premature hats I'm donating to the hospital to get the best seamless hat, but they're too small for my little hands. I wanted a little cord because these hats are small, but the tops? Money wasted for me.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Nothing here

Very good for small projects.

I reloaded it like an idiot but still it worked fine. The bamboo parts of the needles are small but not difficult to use at all. I have loved this needle brand from the start - I have had a set of 16" bamboo needles for about 5 years now and they are still in perfect condition (no splitting, no cord falling out). These needles are obviously just as well made, there are no corners or edges on the needles.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • too stupid

pretty cool

At first the small "needles" (actually thick) took a little getting used to, but now I really like them. IMHO it's better to use double ended needles or a magic circle when making mittens, which is why I bought them. Probably good for socks too, just haven't tried it yet. Also suitable for making iPhone cases or glasses holders. My only complaint is that the connection between bamboo and metal is not as strong as I would like. Sometimes the stitches get stuck on the right needle when you move…

  • Available in 9 sizes
Cons
  • Not automatic

The tiny tips are easy to feel when you manipulate them

I'm a beginner knitter, but when I was knitting my first hat I realized I had to get into a smaller round use the magic buttonhole method or use double ended needles to finish the bodice and close it. I bought this but to be honest it's uncomfortable to work with. The tiny tips are easy to grab when manipulating, and while it takes a bit of time to get used to them, I've found that using needles with double-tipped ends works best for me to finish my hats. I bet it would be great for socks…

Pros
  • Beveled for ease and comfort
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Perfect for socks and gloves

I don't know what the other reviewer was expecting. If Clover made these needle tips 4 inches long like their regular circles, the connecting cord could only be 1 inch long, making it impossible to bend enough to move around in circles. With smaller circular knitting needles, the tips must be shortened. However, these needles are great for a casual pair of gloves or socks. I've read about bamboo tips breaking but so far I've made four gloves on mine and haven't had a single break and the tips…

Pros
  • Takumi
Cons
  • Big and chunky
