Owned two for two years and just got stronger.

First, many people don't understand what "SpeedBooster" means. This has nothing to do with faster internet access. It is purely an accelerator for transferring files between your networked PCs. So if you never transfer large files between PCs, you're essentially throwing your money away on SpeedBooster something from Linksys. However, I only had one problem with one of these cards: A screw in the antenna broke off on a plastic screw connection and I sealed it. I've tried three different…

This device interferes with your digital LCD monitor! You also need an external antenna!

I installed this on my computer with a slot 3 slots away from my DVI slot (digital LCD monitor port) and it was causing horrible interference when I restarted the computer and the monitor was off most of the time rebooting and flashing, and then eventually came back. I've tried moving the included antenna but to no avail. The reception was not very good and I had to buy a separate external antenna. It may sound awkward, but I had more trouble opening the computer case than installing this card. The installation process went something like this. Spend 10 minutes figuring out how to open my new computer case. Finally, open the case. Insert this card into the PCI slot. close the case Screw on the antenna.
