ordered what was supposed to be a new phone but instead I received a used at&t phone which was dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke

I AM BUYING 3 OF THESE PHONES FOR MY 96 YEAR OLD UNCLE. I PROGRAMED HIM TWO ROWS OF BUTTONS AND A KEY 911. WHEN HE FALLED HE JUST PRESS THE BUTTON FOR ME AND THEN I TOLD HIM TO PRESS THE BIG RED BUTTON TO GET HELP FROM THE FEDSHERS. I CAN ALSO ADJUST THE VOLUME OF THE RINGER AND HANDSET SO HE CAN HEAR. A FLASHING RED CORNER HE WAS EASILY SEEING THE CALL ROUND BUT HE DID NOT HEAR IT. GREAT PHONE.

. Clarity's phone line is amazing and works as advertised in terms of boosting and lightening. There is no doubt about it. But look at this -- it's a 1970s design with little to no modern amenities. For one thing, there is no Caller ID/Caller ID caller. I do not know; I guess they assume every user is a cranky old man who doesn't want to mess around with a bunch of newfangled tech.
