I needed black heels for my capsule wardrobe. This is compliant. The heel is not too high and they can be paired with jeans, a little black dress and everything in between. I find them comfortable. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 and wear a 9.5 in sneakers. 8.5 suits me.

I've read reviews of an uncomfortable strap that digs into the back of the ankle, which is a problem with most shoes anyway. So I put an adhesive pad in the shoe like in the photo and it's very comfortable. No other problems or friction. I ran 6 miles the first day I put them on, which I don't recommend, but even then I felt comfortable! And they are very stylish. I highly recommend.

I bought these shoes to wear after the wedding for walking and dancing at the reception, as my wedding shoes were more for aesthetic reasons . After that, however, they worked great and are very comfortable!
