Unparalleled durability

Don't let the name fool you, this is a regular sponge I used on my cupboard doors, fridge and microwave once and it fell apart and got holes in it. I believe there are 4 in the box but a good scrub with each and they should not be taken from the store.

  • Expensive but decent

Worst product ever!

This product is terrible! I've used magic erasers many times and I got 4 times more durable to make the eraser last more than one job. It didn't even take a job! I used it on white rubber on a pair of kids boots and it fell apart right away making a huge mess.

They work and then fall apart instantly

Magic erasers are good until they crumble in your hand halfway through cleaning. I've used them for years to scrape chalk off walls or scuffs on shoes - they have so many uses and they really seem to work wonders at removing impossible stains, but they're short-lived and they're beautiful. they make it expensive.

Very Poor Quality: Cleaner

I bought Mr. Clean Magic after using a generic food brand. I thought that Mr. Clean holds up better than the nameless brand that took me three cleanings of my marble and grout shower. Boy was I wrong. After a single wipe of the marble tiles and bathtub, Mr. Clean Magic literally began to fall apart. Pieces of sponge fell off and got stuck in the drain. The quality of these pads is so poor that I would stick with an unknown brand and spend a lot less.

Totally overpriced

I bought based on the 5 star reviews and now I feel like they are misleading. They are no better than a soft sponge (but less durable) and significantly inferior to cheap dishwashing sponges. I've tried them on some heavy projects: cleaning a painted cast iron tub, old linoleum floors, and kitchen countertops/cabinets. Every time I've tried a dish sponge, a Brillo sponge, and a magic eraser, all on the same surfaces. Magic Eraser was in third place every time. Maybe this product was good in the

They make more mess than you started with

They are no longer well made. I used to love this product. For a time I had a housekeeper who would bring her groceries. When I recently moved I picked them up again and reminded myself how great they are at cleaning counters, closets, walls - I've used them a lot! God I was disappointed that I bought a big box. They literally crumbled right in my hand. I bought a smaller pack at the supermarket thinking I might have gotten a bad batch somehow. They also crumbled in my hand. It's a shame…

Not as good as it used to be. Light cleaning turns them to shreds.

I bought these when they first came out and they were a 5 star cleaner. No longer! With each new purchase, the product gets worse (thimble). It used to be a great product, but they've changed it so drastically that sometimes a use is rubbish. I mainly use these for my porcelain coffee/tea mugs that get stained and have had one in every shower for hard water stains. I ran the eraser along the rim of the mug and it literally cut the mug in half. I'm writing this review after running my fingertips

Short lived, not to mention "heavy duty "

Very disappointed. Mister. The Clean Magic Eraser is great for cleaning, but like anything else, manufacturers get greedy when it comes to great products and try to squeeze as much profit out of them as possible. Original Mr. The Clean Magic Eraser worked great, so the company saw the dollar sign and came up with the idea of adding "Extra Durable" to its name to encourage customers to buy a more expensive product. The problem is that the quality of these "erasers" leaves a lot to be desired…
