🧽 CleanTools 41149 The Absorber Synthetic Drying Chamois, Large 27x17, Red Review

I bought it back on February 7th, 2013. I owned it until last winter when I was cleaning out my garage and saw it in a container on the ground. I opened it and found there was mold on it but not because the product is cheap because I didn't wash it properly last time! I was very disappointed in myself for letting that happen, but oh well. I'm going to buy another one as spring is coming and I need a new one to dry my car when I'm done washing. Great product, I will buy again!

I recommend them to anyone who has a complaint about their car drying out. it was so easy to wring out, 3 times and turn, and 90% of the water flowed out! I bought one of the Chemical Guys microfiber wafers and it was amazing, but when you wring it out the layer size (25" x 36") was very difficult to wring out well. Your towel has almost 80% of my machine, 2 of those would be an alternative. I give this product a 1 and it's worth every penny!

Absorbs very well but does not absorb until surface is dry. I got the impression that after wiping with this cloth, no water remains on the surface. From my testing, this is fine for removing a lot of water, but will never make it as dry as a microfiber towel. Most people go with this towel in the car, the rest go with microfiber. As other reviewers have said, needs to be wet to work. I've been going through rough suede looking for one that worked well to dry my car and this is MUCH the best I've found. Dries without streaks and stores a lot of water. The main problem with suede is that it doesn't hold much water, but this one does and makes drying easy. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit. But this is a great product! Super absorbent, durable, high quality towel. I use several when I kayak. I wish I had discovered this many years ago! I have been buying these for many years now. I've been using one as my main post-shower bath towel for several months. Beginners need to wet and wring them before each use. (They dry very hard, so they don't get towel dry. But if you soak and wring them out quickly, they become very soft, absorbent, and like suede.)
