Great Product, Quick & Easy Fix!

Great product for a quick fix to ants getting in around our kitchen sink.Because it's clear and no caulk gun required it was easy to use for anyone. You just cut the tip and go for it.Just make sure any smears are cleaned up quickly so it looks nice when done.

Pros
  • AVAILABLE IN CLEAR AND WHITE
Cons
  • May require a second application for optimal effectiveness

Good Silicone Sealant

I bought this to seal a flange around the shower neck that come out of the wall. It worked great, set very quickly, and has now held for some time without any signs of loosening. The smell dissipated quickly and I appreciate that they give you a tapered tip to use. The tip can be secured onto the tube when you’re storing it. Just clean the tip out (I used a toothpick), place the ring around the neck of the tube, and put the cap in place to keep it from drying out. Super handy!

Pros
  • 30 MINUTE WATER READY
Cons
  • May be difficult to apply in hard-to-reach areas

Works well. Don’t try to re-smooth again & again.

It seals! It just depends on your work.I used it during the COVID summer of 2020 to reseal my bathroom shower tub bottom frame, as it had been leaking way too long. This stuff works great! Only this was my first time doing this since I was probably a kid helping my dad. So, my application worked fine, but I still had small leaks even after I was certain I covered everything around the frame! Although the leaks after the resealing were a significant improvement from before! My issue was that I…

Pros
  • Works fine. Tube seems small for price but it is gorilla so kinda expect that.
Cons
  • Difficult to get a smooth finish when applying

Super Easy and Super Effective

I love this product. First of all, it is a Gorilla product so automatically you can't go wrong. Then it is super easy to use. Just open, cut the spout at an angle (higher up if you want a smaller thread, lower if you want thick), screw it on the tube and press as you apply it. It couldn't be simpler. The best part is that it dries pretty quickly (fully dry within only a few hours, so you can apply overnight and it will be very set for the next morning) and it is clear, so it will not stick out…

Pros
  • worked as advertised
Cons
  • May not work well on uneven or rough surfaces

This stuff is GREAT!

Love, love, love this stuff! We recently replaced our kitchen sink faucet with a new single hole commercial style faucet. The metal plate that covers the other two holes didn’t lay as flat as it should have and lifted at the ends ever so slightly. Even though it had a rubber gasket underneath, if water splashed on the back of the sink, the plate would allow a little to seep underneath, dripping below. No need to call out a plumber, ordered this Gorilla Glue Clear Silicone Sealant & caulked…

Pros
  • GREAT FOR: Kitchen, Bath, Window, Door, Plumbing, Gutters, Auto, Marine and more.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in areas with high humidity or moisture

High quality - my new review

High quality reusable silicone sealant. Works well, and the fact that it has a cap to keep it sealed is great for when you just need a little bit but don't want to waste an entire tube. I do recommend cleaning out the tip with a wood skewer or something of the sort when you're done before you put it away, though.

Pros
  • Caulking in bathroom wood trim.
Cons
  • Can have a strong odor

Worked but the smell is ridiculous

Worked but the smell is ridiculous. I had to use it on two litter box houses during assembly and I was ridiculous how strong the smell was and how long it lasted. It stayed in my apartment for a few days. Even though I opened all the windows to ventilate. I only used maybe half the tube. I would not recommend this product.

Pros
  • Odorless, ensuring no unpleasant odors linger after application
Cons
  • May not work well on surfaces that are curved or uneven

Solution to Leaky Jeep Hardtops

I got this specifically to seal up the leaking Freedom Top panels on my 2012 Wrangler. These have a common issue where the seams on the removable tops start to separate, which lets water in. As soothing as it was to hear "calming ocean" sounds overhead every time the vehicle moved, I didn't care for getting the surprise interior mini-showers. I read up on some silicone sealants and saw that this one included "automotive" in the description, so figured I'd give it a try. It's been several weeks…

Pros
  • Comes in a convenient squeeze tube that is easy to use and store
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in areas with high levels of saltwater exposure

Good Product: my feedback

Worked well. I like that it had a sealed cap that I could put back on after use. I have previously purchased sealants that had just the tip attached and no matter what I did, it would dry out when stored.

Pros
  • Versatile, making it suitable for use on a variety of surfaces, including metal, glass, and plastic
Cons
  • May not adhere well to surfaces that are dusty or dirty

Don’t use this on your cornrows

Great sealant…my brother is disabled and has a drive in shower stall but to keep water in the stall I used a garage door floor seal and cut it to length then used this sealant to adhere it to the shower floor. Now he can drive over the seal and it keeps the water in the shower. I’m sure this sealant will definitely keep the garage door seal in place whilst my brother continues to drive over it.

Pros
  • SEALS OUT WATER, AIR & MOISTURE
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in areas with high foot traffic

Bottom blew out but it works

Works great, seals leaks and won’t degrade rubber. Unfortunately the bottom of the tube blew out while I was using it. I completed the job I needed to use it for. Just a bummer it dried out and I can’t keep it in my tool-chest for the next time I need it.

Pros
  • Can be painted over if necessary, without affecting the effectiveness of the seal
Cons
  • Requires a certain level of skill to apply properly
