It's great because.

They don't stick to the front of the case like some cheaper brands. I removed the last ones I bought because if you leave the closet door closed for a while it opens with a "pop" as if the composition of those bumpers chemically reacted with the closet trim. Replaced them with these and problem solved. I know. first world problem. but nobody likes a sticky closet door.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

These soft-closing drawer door bumpers are life.

These soft-closing cabinet door bumpers are a lifesaver. I'm so tired of hearing my wife slam closet doors every time she closes them. The sound went straight through my mind, but with the soft bumpers I don't hear that horrid rumble of slamming doors anymore. Thank you for making these soft bumpers and they are made for what they are meant for. They fit very well on the doors and are well made.

Pros
  • Sturdy Construction
Cons
  • Some Problems

Makes the closet really QUIET! Even works on the toilet lid!

Works better than felt or other rubber/plastic bumpers as closet doors close more quietly. We have a soft close toilet seat (in the bathroom next to our bedroom) that a child will want to open at any time, so I put that in there as well. SO QUIET now! I haven't heard from him since then! Of course you need to make sure the surface you apply it to is CLEAN or it won't stick. You can use some alcohol to clean it well.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Bad product sticky not working

They looked ok when I received them, a bit heavier than expected for a drawer stopper but probably ok. I put on a bunch and they kept falling off after a few weeks. The sticky stain will remain on the surface but will come off the bumper. Do not buy. Don't let these manufacturers make or sell such things. I don't care about wasted money, but when the whole market is full of this stuff, it's impossible to find something that actually works.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons

Effective for first 2 months then damage

Strong adhesion on first use and correct shape/hardness. Good sign. BUT very quickly they start to slip and are so sticky on the outside that they started sticking to my cabinets and peeling the paint off when opening and closing. After 3 months they become brittle and fall off. Almost every bumper I've replaced with these has fallen off and you'll start to find them on the ground, discolored and hard. I'm not sure if they all do, but look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Resistant to testing
Cons
  • I will add later

Great bumpers to match furniture hardware

After I received the wrong item on my first order, Amazon was quick to fix it and I got them. I've replaced all the cheap white/cream bumpers that have been in every closet/drawer in our house since it was built. That's great. Not only do they hold up well (I haven't had a fall yet), they are completely invisible and do their job perfectly. My kids are always slamming doors and they even seem to help with that loud slamming. We are very happy with it and haven't found any disadvantages yet.

Adhesive Bumper Covers

I measured some of the stickers I used and they fit my project perfectly. As for the Gorilla Grip pads, they advertised the same sizes as the ones I use. However, they are slightly larger and the outside of the mat (facing the countertop) is really sticky. So I'm not very happy with all the sizes of these new pads. Pictured below are my old bumpers. The picture above is brand new. That small difference makes a big difference to my project. The tool on the left is what I measured earlier, so Iโ€ฆ

Acceptable adhesion but bumpers are soft and sticky

I had no problem attaching the bumpers to my cabinets. I removed the old glue with Goo Gone and then wiped the wood surface with clean (isopropyl) alcohol before gluing the bumpers on. I followed the directions and tried not to touch the glue with my fingers. Bumpers not only stick to the application surface, but also to the hemispherical contact surface. There seems to be some kind of chemical leaching out of the bumpers that makes them sticky. And I mean very sticky. The stickiness doesn'tโ€ฆ
