Clicgear Model 8 Cart Seat (CGCS80): Convenient and Comfortable Golf Cart Accessory Review

Fantastic. It's nice when a slower group is ahead and you want to sit and unload. Or just sit and think for a while surrounded by green grass.

I bought it last week. On my Clicgear 8 it took 5 minutes to install. Played at 6pm the next day after the seat was installed. I liked that it was on the course. I live in Arizona so it will be very helpful for the next 7 months.

Easy install (if you find the screw isn't quite round make sure you line the flat part right and it works like a charm). Works great and is very easy to put on and take off before/after a round. Came in handy during those long 5 hour laps when you have a bit of a wait.

Installation was easy look at the picture not the instructions. When sitting, make sure that you are on as level a surface as possible. It tends to fall off a bit when you sit, so relax and you'll be fine. It's a bit difficult for me to shoot, which I have to do every time I finish my round because I keep it in my small rear open trunk of my Kia Soul.

The seat is comfortable and easy to install. But the seat has an internal spring that allows the seat to bounce off the ground when not in use. When you push the trolley, you can hear the spring inside the suitcase rattling. Since the spring is on the inside for weather protection, I don't see a way to lubricate it. It's no fun listening to the feathers turning in your feed, it encourages you to talk to everyone in sight just to avoid hearing the feathers turning.

The instructions were a bit misleading but after a couple of bad starts everything went right. Not being a great mechanic didn't help, but if you read all the instructions beforehand and look closely at the picture on the box, it's not difficult. This will make the game much easier, especially when slow gaming becomes such an issue. At least now you can enjoy the landscape without getting up. Good buy, should have thought about it a few years ago.
