This Straight type adapter allows you to convert standard Female Hella(DIN) socket into Cigarette lighter type Socket. The Cigarette lighter Socket is fitted to most 12V / 24V standard cigarette lighter type accessory plugs. It has a 21mm internal diameter with output 12V / 15 Amp max. It is tightly fitted to the Hella(DIN) Socket as well as the cigarette lighter plugs. Slightly better than useless

If you own a BMW motorcycle, this won't stay in your powerlet. I'm not sure what the answer is; All I know is that it's not that adapter.

Ideal for use with standard 12V cigarette lighter accessories with .

Ideal for using standard 12V cigarette lighter accessories with DIN plug (silver socket) in older VW Westfalia motorhomes. It fits snugly and works as expected. I used it to light up a map and a 12V USB charger - no problem. Shipped quickly as advertised.

Works great and half the price of others

Works like a charm. I bought it for my R1200RT LC and it works very well. It snaps securely into place and stays in place while you ride. I was concerned about quality and performance as it's less than half what other BMW adapters are sold for, but I have no complaints. It was even offered on Revain Prime, so it arrived quickly and just in time for my recent trip.

2016 Triumph Tiger 800 Xc

Works well, solidly assembled. Ideal for those who use a smartphone with a USB system. (lower profile). I use it with a Garmin GPS and the height of the DIN adapter and Garmin connector means I have to get it just right so it doesn't get in the way of the steering wheel when turning. Works for me with no issues and avoids the extra cables that come with other models. Again, my rating has a lot to do with the location of the DIN connector on my Triumph Tiger 800Xc. Hope this helps you.

Very well made but with flaws

This is not just a power connector, it is a full powerful cigarette lighter socket with a ceramic insulator. I would like to give 5 stars but it has some issues. The tip is so blunt (and mine was slightly off center) that it damaged the first 3 powerlet sockets I tried to plug it into. You have to pre-spread the positive poles of your powerlet sockets with a ballpoint pen and be very careful when plugging them in. I wouldn't want to stick while driving. Updated find: I've added a fourth picture
