It's practically the best multi-tool for vertical work

This thing is like a wave of vertical leatherworking accessories. It's too small and versatile to be the perfect tool for any given task, but it's so small and versatile that I end up using it more often than I care to admit. It's never the first thing I think of when planning a ground facility, but I find myself turning to this little monster for many quick tasks while I'm already there. It's really too small to handle comfortably, and it's definitely not a one-handed tool, and it's notโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Power tools
Cons
  • Expensive

Worked great for "fall protection "

After much research I used this to cover some roofs as backup fall (slip) protection on metal roofs with a 6:12 pitch in sporadic rain testing. (I'm a civil engineer.) I wouldn't necessarily use it for a vertical fall with significant impact, but more for use where there might be relatively little impact if I slip, fall, and start sliding down the roof. Great device in such a small package. (And I didn't even use it for some of the other features it has.) A photo shows where I cut out to freely

Pros
  • Tools and gear
Cons
  • Not bad

Great value for money but when used correctly.

Great product. I like its size and versatility. Less bulky compared to the Petzl Traxion. All in all a great buy for the price. The loss of one star is related to performance. When used as a pulley at a fixed point. You have to make sure you're pulling straight down. You must use an oval or pear shaped carabiner. If you use a D carabiner, the roller buckle will sit askew under load, causing your rope to easily pop off the spool (pulley). Having a cleat in the "bite" position can cause your rope
