Comfortable and Fit Fine

The socks are not inexpensive, but if you have problem feet like mine it's worth it go get good socks. These are comfortable and sized correctly (XL). I'm a 14 so things are not easy for me in buying socks across the counter. They appear to be well made and time will be the test on that aspect. If they are still as good in about 3 months I will probably buy a few more pair.

Pros
  • Great warm sox; excellent cushion and flexibility.
Cons
  • The socks may not be as warm as advertised

comfortable and wears well

wore these skiing, and they were perfect. fit well, kept me warm without being too bulky, and dried out nicely for the next day.

Pros
  • Highly breathable construction allows air to circulate, keeping your feet cool and fresh
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for people with psoriasis

Great socks and the XL size is perfect

I wear a size 14 wide shoe, and it is very hard to find high quality socks that keep my feet dry and comfortable. I used to buy Merrell XL socks but they stopped making them a few years ago so I turned to Walmart and ordered about 6 different brands to try out. The Cloudline socks were the only ones that fit comfortably, especially around the ankle and calf - all the other brands I tried dug in painfully at the top of the sock. I think these socks are just so much more soft and stretchy, it…

Pros
  • Machine Wash
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for people with corns or calluses

GREAT SOCKS best in my review

These are ABSOLUTELY the BEST socks I have ever purchased. I am an avid walker and I always end up with hot spots or blisters - not with these socks! They are padded in just the right places and the wool soaks up any sweat. I was worried about the wool being itchy, but not at all! They are soft, but durable and I bought three more pairs! I love these socks! I wear a size 7 shoes and bought a medium and they fit perfectly.

Pros
  • Designed for performance and comfort, these socks are a must-have for any serious hiker
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for people with bipolar disorder

Great socks on my review.

I just received the socks and while I haven't worn them yet, the are soft and cushy. They seem more durable than other wool socks I have. I'm looking forward to wearing them when I have to do some snow removal next week (As forecasted).

Pros
  • Great quality! Keep my feet warm.
Cons
  • The socks may fade after washing

True to size, warm and overall great fit

i was looking for a good pair of socks for my weekend camping/hiking trip. Something to keep my feet warm and not overheat them or cause blisters. I’d read the reviews on these, a pair that wouldn’t break the bank and decided to give them a try. Glad I did, seems I have a natural ability to plan my camping trips for some of the coldest weather in Florida. With nighttime temps in the 20’s (granted that’s nothing for folks in the mountains or way up north but down here that’s cold!) I still…

Pros
  • Me agrado mucho.Cumplió todas las espectativas.
Cons
  • The socks may not be as durable as advertised

Comfortable and warm

I purchased these socks for a turkey hunt coming up, but I haven't tested them for that. I have worn them on a very cold winter day and they were very comfortable and kept my feet warm! So far, I am very impressed and I am considering another pair.

Pros
  • Moisture-wicking technology keeps your feet dry and prevents blisters
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for people with gout

Sturdy sock with excellent moisture wicking capability.

Perfect choice for July 10 Mt Whitney hike as there were many stream crossings. So my feet were always wet, but the wool did a great job of wicking away moisture in attempt to dry out.

Pros
  • Really love them. these just don’t seem to wear out. Using for over 3 years
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for all weather conditions

I love these socks: my feedback

I love these socks! When I got my first pair several months ago, I wasn't so sure I would like them. They felt 'odd'. But after wearing them once or twice, they are now my favorite socks and almost the only ones I wear along with the thick Darn Tough brand

Pros
  • Never worry about blisters again with these incredibly comfortable hiking socks
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for people with Down syndrome

Good cold weather socks

The socks are soft and warm perfect for cold weather. The socks are thick cold weather socks and fit well. The socks may not be suitable for people with wide calf muscles.

Pros
  • 10.5 x 4.5 x 0.5 inches; 3.4 Ounces
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for people with wide calf muscles

This one is the most comfortable by far

My husband has tried four different brands of wool socks. He has very sensitive feet and is on them all day at work. This one is the most comfortable by far. They are cushioned without being too bulky. The next test will be how well they hold up after washing and wearing over time. If all goes well this will be the brand we purchase from now on.

Pros
  • Cushioned foot bed provides added comfort and support for all-day wear
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for people with cystic fibrosis

Pretty darn good socks

I have a couple pairs of Darn Tough socks, and wanted to see other brands. These are really soft, as you would expect with the name. The return policy for the brand makes it zero risk to try. Hopefully these won't flatness as much as Darn Toughs.

Pros
  • Socks are fine.
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for people with plantar fasciitis

Nice and soft.: my feedback

My husband has worn these socks for just a few days but really likes the feel and height of them. They wash well with no shrinkage or piling. He wishes they had shrunk some in the toe. I ordered the gray color which is very nice.

Pros
  • Kept feet warm plowing snow in my tractor.
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for people with foot odor issues

I really like these socks, they are exactly what I wanted! I'm a food server, I need the wool socks for the extra cushioning in my slip resistant work shoes. I was able to wear these socks to help make my new shoes more comfortable and the wool doesn't make my feet smelly from all the sweating when I work 10 hour shifts and am on my feet and moving about the whole time. The pedometer on my phone tells me that I am averaging 5miles a day of walking while I am at work and these socks keep my feet

Pros
  • So far so good! Really soft. Great for cold weather.
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for people with bunions

I take size 13 shoe and extra large fit perfectly. Slipped on a slime covered rock in a stream. My feet and socks got wet. I could hardly tell with these. The only complaint is that burrs and prickles stick to these like Velcro. You have to spend 5 min picking them off at the end of a hike. but they will still always be my sock of choice.

Pros
  • Very nice socks. I like the fit and thickness. I use them everyday.
Cons
  • The socks may not provide enough arch support for some users

My husband's new favorite socks!

These are a bit pricey, but if you have bought cheap socks than the overall price for good quality socks is totally worth it! They are not scratchy, they are thick and "solid". Attractive too, if you can say that about socks?! I will buy a few more pair for the hubby.

Pros
  • Not cheap, great socks made in the USA. I love both the medium and light cushion crews.
Cons
  • The socks may not be as comfortable as advertised

Great for wintertime cycling

These are the most comfortable socks that I have ever worn. They breath well and keep my feet warm on long bicycle rides in the fall. I expect them to be adequate in the winter, also.

Pros
  • July 31, 2015
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for people with athlete’s foot

Love these socks in my review

These socks are soft and comfortable to wear plus they keep my feet warm which is a big deal when you hike in the Alaska wilderness.

Pros
  • These are some of the most comfortable socks I have ever had. Love them
Cons
  • The socks may not be as soft as advertised

Comfy but don't stay dry

I wore the socks for the first time yesterday and found them to be comfortable to put on and wear all day.I was very disappointed to realize that they were moist (from sweat) at the end of the day, though I work in an office environment.I was going to buy additional pairs (BTW, I wish they had them in dark blue), but will wait till after washing them and trying them again.

Pros
  • Made with premium quality merino wool for superior warmth and comfort
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for people with diabetes

My days of cheap crappy socks are over!

So, first you should know that I have mostly always viewed socks as a place where I could go cheap. I had some dollar amount in my mind as "this is how much socks should be" and I just refused to cross it. But last year a person selling me hiking boots explained the logic of buying a slightly too large boot and filling the space with cushiness, so I bought a pair of Darn Tough socks with a little padding. And those were nice, you know, but they were a bit shorter than I might have…

Pros
  • CloudLine Apparel
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for people with dress shoes
