it is so easy to work with

It is ready to use, sticky and flexible, very easy to work with. It's quite expensive, but it eliminates all preparatory work. It can be glued with finger pressure and fixed by ironing. Or just press down with your finger and it can be moved around until you sew it in place. I used a twin needle with a 4.0mm gap between needles and the stitches end up just inside the edges of the bias binding so this requires a steady hand and a good eye, but you only sew once and you're done.

Pros
  • Washable by sewing
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Works great - lasts great! Would buy again and again

Works great. It's very easy to glue to cover the seam for stained glass applique. It doesn't move after ironing and the sewing machine stitches over it nicely when it permanently attaches the bias binding to the appliqué.It's also good around curves but takes some work with it on very tight curves. It sews beautifully with a twin needle if your sewing machine has that option I would definitely buy it again but I would like to find a place to buy it that has a discount for buying multiple rolls…

Pros
  • Includes 11 yards 1/4" wide
Cons
  • Something different

I'm considering Gold Fused Band. First, there was no way I could make the diagonal band that small and perfect. I am making a stained glass Christmas tree skirt with lots of curves and it comes out beautiful and is a dream to work with. Nevertheless I used a clover iron and gave the item 4 steps because I was having a hard time sticking the tape to my cotton project. When the iron is heated enough to activate the fuse, the gold poly band will melt. So the merge was good or bad until I…

Pros
  • Eliminates crafting and attachment time
Cons
  • Requires Socket
