I made yo-yos the old-fashioned way, sewing them together by hand. Distance always bothered me until I came across these amazing tools. They make the process very fast and precise. I ended up buying them in all sizes!

This was my first heart shaped yoyo maker. It's easy to use and looks like a heart. Sturdy construction that will never break with proper use. I've made a few and they are very cute. I sell them in my shop Etsy Markets of Sunshine.

I bought this for my mom to try and make a yo-yo for herself and she loved it. I have my own and I've made a lot of cute things. If you like handwork and have the patience to spend time doing it, give it a try, it's much easier and faster than doing it by hand.

helps me get rid of things I don't need. When I've finished a project, I try to make diagonal bands for future projects, linings, etc. Small papas are then made from the leftovers. I have sandwich bags with leftover fabric so I can use them right away if I want to make decorations or a painting.

My daughter and I love making them. It's an easy project and great if you enjoy doing things with your hands. If you plan on sewing them all together, you don't have to worry about lining or tying (unless you want to). Save yourself the hassle and read the instructions (with pictures) first. There is also a guide on YouTube. Instead of cutting from pre-cut squares, I press more yo-yos out of my fabric, pin the pieces as close to the edge as possible (leaving some room for the folded portion)…
