Cam chains do not fit my 2007 Dodge Dakota 4.7L. They are of the same type as the crankshaft chain and must be roller chain. Update: The camshaft chain tensioner guides are also the wrong part. Half of that rate is wasted. The auto-fit guide still shows it's correct, but don't waste your money like me!

The main box says USA, the contents are packed in an individual box marked Taiwan. I hope these are decent guides and chains. and I hope it's not repackaged junk, because getting to them with an engine in a jeep isn't that easy. I currently have the engine removed and the originals are showing signs of wear. I hope that their replacement will not be a mistake.

Purchased and installed during a 4.7 liter conversion for a 2002 Durango. The engine began to rumble on startup, hydraulic valve lifters thought. Find out, the chains are slack and the tensioners are fully extended. Either the chain is too long or the quality of this product is poor. Dismantled, put regular chains, guides and tensioners. The engine is now quiet during cranking and has been for the 20,000 miles I've driven it now. Do yourself a favor and buy OEM.
