True and Sharp best in straight

CMT has become my favorite brand of router bits. This one works perfectly like all the others, very sharp and orange, why not.

Pros
  • Creates right angle joints, box-through joints, mortise and tenon joints, tongues, joints, tongue and groove joints
Cons
  • Without a doubt,

Worth the extra money

Don't buy cheaper materials, they are durable, accurate and efficient. I have other brands I bought about 10 years ago but the CMT bits I bought in 2007 are still sharp and will drill and shave wood like the first day. The rest is not so effective.

Pros
  • CMT bits voted best compared to other brands (Wood Magazine test)
Cons
  • Disappear

Good to buy from Revain

This is my spare bit as the first one broke on the first use. 2/3 of a cutting edge just pulled off, fortunately it pierces the wood and not me! Metal defect in manufacture, on a hunch. idk Thankfully, as usual, Revain replaced him. The second bit has worked well so far, otherwise I would have given it a one star rating.

Pros
  • For use on wood and wood composites
Cons
  • Thin
