Coby 1 Television & Video Review

The product description says Mac OS 10.2 or later, but that's incorrect. It only supports up to 10.5.2 as stated during installation. I have 10.6 so this couldn't work. I called support and they just said there is no new software and they only have the original install so I was told to return it. This product description needs to be updated. No more Coby products, that's for sure.

I had read previous reviews on this but thought I would give it a try and bought it as a gift for my husband (because I really liked that this keychain was on a clip instead normal key clip) . I've tried several times to install the required software on my home computer without success and it just didn't work (I'm not a computer genius but I know how to do it). I bought 4 of these (3 as gifts) and only one person was able to get them to work - and that was with a lot of hassle, including the need to use a different connection cable. I've tried it on my desktop and laptop with the same results. The Coby troubleshooters walked me through a few cycles for the one I left and when nothing worked told me to return the unit as it was faulty. I bought this for my mother, a proud grandmother who loves to show off pictures of her grandchildren. It's nice and small (which is to be expected from a keychain) and has lots of photos on it. a simple thing. It took her about 15 minutes to set it up and get it up and running, uploading photos, etc. The photos are a bit grainy, but it's not terrible by any means. Since the photo viewing area is tiny (it's a keychain after all!), it's perfect for grandma to show off her photos, it's small…
