Not a very good portable cassette player. But after a VERY FAILED attempt to purchase one of these devices from retailers near me (compared to this experience) I am very happy with this item. While I'm not judging the durability or sturdiness of this item, it has so far worked well and consistently with my NiMH battery cartridges.
