I like the larger Japanese style jiggers, they look fantastic. However. After one use I threw it in the washing machine and (only) the inside peeled off. Not cool. I didn't know you couldn't throw it in the laundry. I have the same can shaker finish and have had no problems with the washing machine. so what the hell?

I loved this jigger until it got a rust ring. It was never in the water, I always cleaned and dried it. This thing is either made out of poor quality steel or poor quality control. I suggest buying a more expensive one that will last, rather than buying a cheaper one and then buying a high quality one that won't rust.

I lost my other 1/2 oz jigger and bought this as a replacement. I like the Japanese style (tall and slim rather than short and wide) as they are less prone to spatter and are a bit easier to work with. It also has additional sizes (0.5 and 0.75 oz on the 1 oz side and 1.5 oz on the 2 oz side) which are very useful when mixing drinks.

I usually use a shot glass with dimensions but it broke and I needed something to replace it. I heard jigger is recommended. After going through a few, I settled on this one. I changed it last night and I have to say it was pretty accurate. I really like it and I love double cups. Easy to clean. I use the side of the sponge to avoid scratching the measurement. I will say measurements are hard to see but NOT hard to remember. 1 1/2 oz on one side and 1/2 and 3/4 on the other side.

This is quite a review of a jigger, in the sense that it's like a review of a steel cup: it either works or it doesn't. Or exists or not. However, the jigger is more of a measuring tool than a cup, so you buy it to measure out the exact amount of liquid. And unfortunately this jigger is not very suitable for that. Engraved dimensions on the inside are accurate and easy to read, lines run all the way around. My only issue (and it's my fault for not reading the entire description) is that you have to fill to the brim to get a full ounce on the smaller side and two ounces on the other side. Otherwise it's a pretty jigger that's perfect for me to feel a little fancy while making my daily morning coffee and the perfect complement to our decor style and barware when we get together

This is a beautiful item to add to any home bar collection. The black color is very rich and adds a very nice touch. I'm just a budding drink mixer (aren't we all in this pandemic), but this adds real class to my home bar. And very functional. Was handy during our last virtual team happy hour. :-)
