I already have a travel size jerrycan and was very happy to find this large one online. This is exactly what I was looking for. It's super big, really leak proof, and has a great little feature that lets you track the date you filled it with fresh soil. It also comes with a stylish stainless steel spoon. I now have the perfect pair of coffee storage jars that are durable, attractive and keep the coffee grounds fresh.

This is another great product and buy from Coffee Gator. Looks great with a simple design. It lasts quite a bit and so far has kept my coffee fresh. I haven't really measured how much coffee it actually holds, but it's a lot. Highly recommended! UPDATE - After a few weeks of use, my coffee beans are still fresh. The only issue I had was one of the magnets holding the scoop to the outside of the can fell off. Simple solution and not that big of a problem. I still recommend this product.

I have old style coffee canisters from Coffee Gator. This is my first new style. Improvements seem to read my mind. For this version they added a measuring spoon magnet and a paperclip to identify the beans/beans stored inside. Those were exactly the improvements I was looking for. I hesitated to get this for a long time. I'm definitely glad I finally did it. Keeps beans much fresher than in a bag. Let's face it, bag locks are cheap at best. This container solves that problem. Excellent seal, solid construction and very functional blade. The date tracker and blend clip are good but I don't need them. This is a very good canister, I think it accurately reflects its price. A suggestion for the month face: instead of having all the digits stand upright in relation to the central circle, stand them all upright, like a wall clock. Very disappointed with this particular Gator. Right out of the box I added water to flush out the manufacturing residue and this supposedly sealed container leaked from inside the container into the magnet locations (some of which are on the side). If the heavy padding and fancy clasp around the rim are meant to make this container airtight, then the inability to even hold water is a failure. The spoon is my favorite feature and its magnetic attachment to the can ensures it doesn't get tossed in the dark drawer. The scooper has a nice deep rise at the very front, making it very easy to selectively remove beans or ground coffee from the scale.
