The shovel of all time.

Digs well and picks up dirt. Take it with you on a hike so others don't have to deal with your mess. It's awful eating ice cream with him.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Almost OK

It's definitely an orange scoop

This shovel is great for digging holes and more. Its ability to bury poop makes it a truly multifunctional tool. The bright orange color makes it easier to find in the snow. It's also good to have one nearby. So if you're minding your own business and a hunter thinks you're a hairy wildebeest, you can frantically brandish a bright orange to get his attention. Everything is wonderful all around.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Not your main scoop for p@@p

Lost my excrement scoop so bought this from Revain. Works fine in the sand but most of my rides are in the North Carolina mountains and the shovel doesn't have a serrated edge for digging up small roots etc. I wouldn't buy it as a main shovel p@@p. Instead of just wasting and recycling plastic I'm going to use my multi tool and try to create new edges on the blade. I hope you find it useful

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Bad experience

Hot Dog!: Knives and Tools

Walking through the woods and feeling pretty comfortable. Moments can be awkward. So you are happy with your orange scoop. You're digging a deep cat hole, relief is your only goal. When you feel the weight drop beneath your feet, the release feels so sweet. can now be covered. You can confidently drop your backpack, knowing your spatula is covering your back.

Pros
  • Excellent Design
Cons
  • Some Flaws

Decent but not quite as advertised in the product photo

If you look at the product photo there is an inch size mark on the edge of the spatula. I don't know if the one I received is fake or they changed the design but mine doesn't have measurements on the sides. Also this seems to be what is advertised. It feels pretty strong and doesn't flex much. I'd like it to be a little easier, but they'll probably have to sacrifice his strength for that.

Pros
  • Great overall features
Cons
  • Something different

Works best as intended when camping

For those going on a primitive trek there is one aspect that does not like to be mentioned and that is what to do when relieving yourself have to! I found some collapsible shovels and camping specials online for over $30 and I really think so? Is that too much for a damn ladle? This item is perfect. It's lightweight, made of plastic, and has a slightly sharp edge that you can use to cut through that floor. Great purchase and I can't believe people would pay more for the same product! Get this…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Useless to me. 😟 goes with knives and tools

Pros: Plastic, lightweight Attractive color highly visible Cons: Weak, flimsy Not durable Not suited to my surroundings I live in the Pennsylvania woods where there is rock and gravel that just chew on this thing. If there are roots around, you better find another spot to dig because you won't hit them with this trowel! The roots push your shovel aside. I was very disappointed. After realizing the uselessness of the Coghlan camping shovel, I got a serrated folding shovel that digs nice big…

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • requires outlet

Lighter than advertised, very durable

This won't last forever - it has a thin plastic tip that will break through rocks over time. But if you're careful, it'll take a while and it's easier than advertised. Mine weighed 1.7 ounces (listed as 2 ounces). Seems like a small difference, but they add up. Nice to see something on the brighter side. If you use this a lot in wet/loamy soils you might want to bring a plastic bag to carry it around. The shape of the back has several deep grooves that are difficult to clean well in the field…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Zero

it's the perfect shovel for hiking

I ordered this trowel solely for digging holes while hiking. I bought a stainless steel collapsible a long time ago, it was much heavier than this one. At 11 inches long (5 inches at the handle and 6 inches at the blade) and weighing less than 2 ounces, this is the perfect hiking paddle. The digging blade is 2 to 2 3/4 inches wide. The handle is 1" wide and 3/4" deep and is hollow on the back. This trowel is made of hard plastic with sharp edges that help cut through soil quickly and cleanly…

  • Alright!
