Review on The Ultimate Camping Companion: Coghlan's Backpacker's Trowel Unveiled by William Auditore

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Useless to me. 😟 goes with knives and tools

Pros: Plastic, lightweight Attractive color highly visible Cons: Weak, flimsy Not durable Not suited to my surroundings I live in the Pennsylvania woods where there is rock and gravel that just chew on this thing. If there are roots around, you better find another spot to dig because you won't hit them with this trowel! The roots push your shovel aside. I was very disappointed. After realizing the uselessness of the Coghlan camping shovel, I got a serrated folding shovel that digs nice big holes fairly quickly. I recommend a good folding shovel to anyone who goes hiking in the woods where there are rocks and roots and such. I don't know where this plastic thing could be useful. "Unfortunately not nearly!"

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • requires outlet
