Hope this one is easier to clean but it's just a small hole design. I can't say how durable it is yet. We haven't had it for a long time.

Not common, I raise or keep poultry in the house, they clog the water dispenser with pine shavings and feed. I use this to keep the sink clean and clog free, I have a separate one for the kitchen.

This strainer works great, but because the basket wraps through the bottom of the rim rather than the inside, food gets stuck inside and is difficult to remove. If this change were made I would give five stars!

This strainer is fantastic! I use it to drain pasta and wash fruit and veggies. Very durable! Others have complained about it rusting - I make sure mine dries upright so water doesn't get on the top metal rim, so haven't had any problems yet.

I always have this colander over the sink to clean veggies, fruit etc and it keeps my knives and kitchen scissors out of the way. Continuous. Continuous. Good price. I like the bars at each end. Some have little balls to hold it in place which is terrible.

I like the ease of use. I love that it stretches over my sink so I don't eat my food while sitting in the water. dehumidification. But the food keeps getting stuck under all the edges, especially on the handles, and isn't that easy to get out. Small bits of pasta or whatever bothers me, which completely negates the benefits of it
