This jacket is very beautiful and very well made. The zipper is not in the middle, so please note that it is not at the bottom in the photo. I actually like it because it makes the coat a bit more stylish. This is not a thin down jacket. It's a bit heavy but I think it will be great for New York winters.

I bought it as a gift, both the recipient and the recipient were more than satisfied. Nice, well tailored, well fitting warm coat. This purchase was A++! As a side note, I returned the original jacket due to a fit. This is a fitted coat, so if you need a little extra room to wear over layers or bulky sweaters, order one size up! The fit was right, I just left out the extra room due to the clothes my daughter would be wearing under the coat.

This is literally the worst jacket ever. I expected more from Cole Haan. My. My main issues with the jack are: 1. Not waterproof - sleet or rain will leave you cold and wet in minutes. 2. The zipper breaks every time I sit down3. The hood is so flat that you cannot put it on. Basically it's a winter jacket without a zipper, without a functional hood that you can't wear in the snow without getting wet. resulting in a terribly ineffective winter jacket!

The jacket is so warm and very stylish. I love the hood that sits right on my head and doesn't just fall off. I live in New England so I know COLD. It's a little tight in the shoulder area, but it fits me because I don't like thick sweaters under jackets. Good quality flash. I liked this coat more than I expected. It's pretty casually stylish. The warm, olive green color is pleasant, the faux fur around the hood is very fluffy. I like the inner wrist pads - they keep cold air out of the sleeve and cover the top of the gloves. I like the button at the waist so I can pull it on and use that button when I don't need a full zip. The 2 back pockets are nice and deep, but those are the only pockets. Well tailored, high quality down coat. In the presented photo this is not visible at all, the design of this coat was thought out to the smallest detail. I like the hood, it has faux fur all over the inside of the hood, cropped. When the hood is removed, the fur falls nicely on the shoulders and frames the face. I always find it helpful to read other women's reviews, especially to see if they are right for me. I bought size XL. I'm about 5'1" and taller, usually a jean size 12. In the photo of the model of this coat, the length is mid-thigh. This coat comes to my knees. I mean, I feel like that I sometimes prepare to go to the arctic so for me it was a lot longer than I expected and not the best length for petite girls. But it's cozy on cold days.
