Excellent grinders for one hand

I like it very much. I have wrist problems and can't turn my old salt and pepper grinder. Why or why have I waited so long for her? American Test Kitchen recommended it and now I do too.

Pros
  • cool
Cons
  • sad packaging

Not the best option for grinding peppers.

Mill works great with salt as not much is usually used; However, if you like a lot of ground pepper in your food, I would prefer a manual pepper grinder. Otherwise it's definitely a good product. Each of these two requires six AAA batteries, which is almost more than a windmill.

Attractive but best in the kitchen and dining room

Good looking and easy to use with one hand. However, as mentioned, it takes a long time to get a decent amount of pepper. And I found the little pepper compartment incredibly difficult to open. I almost sent it back thinking it was broken. You'll need strong hands and a lot of patience if you're fiddling with it over and over again. It should be easy, but it isn't.

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • Poor set

Nice grinder but they eat batteries

This is a gift from my son who I adore. I love to cook but grinding salt and pepper is difficult for health reasons. My wrist refuses. I really like these windmills, but they eat batteries. Yes I have a load but damn I cook a lot. Maybe I should cook less. Nothing tastes better than freshly ground pepper and salt.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Disappointing - Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

Bought two of these four months ago, one for salt, one for pepper. I agree that the LED bulb is useless and doesn't last very long, requiring frequent refilling. What worries me is that one of them (the one I use for peppers) never worked properly and then stopped working completely after just a few weeks. When the button is pressed, the engine starts, but quickly slows down and then freezes.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Security

We bought two, both for our pepper and salt.

We bought two pepper and salt dispensers. Our salt mill works well, but the pepper mill takes forever to get enough pepper into our dishes. When we opened the device, the battery leaked inside. We bought it on September 11th and it happened right after the first month of use. Revain doesn't return it, so we reached out to the manufacturer hoping for a positive outcome.

Easy to use but a little heavy

The packaging was damaged in transit and the plastic packaging was avoided by factories. One is worn. They should be packed in a box, not a padded envelope. They replaced a set from a famous home goods store that didn't endorse their product. They work well and the LED is focused so you can see the salt fall. Great feature. Our other grinders worked upside down, which was more balanced. Oh, the grind is easily adjustable. The product is 4 stars but the packaging and shipping/shipping/handling…

Not even mediocre on Kitchen Utensils & Gadgets

I already have one that I use for pepper and this is my second for salt. The only thing they could do better is the spice compartment, which has more space for the spices. You can only add so much salt/pepper until you need to refill. Update September 2, 2020: Last week it stopped working. It keeps spinning but appears to be stuck. I took out the peppercorn, put it back in and it works for 3 seconds and then stops and jams again. So I've had it for a little over a year and I'm honestly saving…

Grinds too slow and made in China not England!

I am very disappointed with this grinder. Cole & Mason goes by the name of England but says made in China on the box and on the box. I feel cheated. Also, I bought this product because my hand gets tired from using a manual pepper grinder. Well, this product grinds the pepper so slowly that my food gets cold before it has time to grind enough pepper to properly flavor it. It's useless to me. I'm reusing my old manual coffee grinder that I only paid $10 for because it grinds peppers at least 10…

Works poorly well for kitchenware and gadgets

Not happy with it. I bought two to replace a set I had previously (I dropped one and cracked so it had to be replaced). Sorry to get rid of the old ones because even in a broken state the old ones worked better than this one. These grinders - let me list my complaints. First, they contain almost no salt or pepper. A teaspoon is best, so you'll need to refill often. Second, as other reviewers have pointed out, the grind speed is SLOW W. You need to work a good minute (yes, a full minute, at…
