Received today and surprised it's a really bad compass, One end of the pointer keeps pulling, nothing works, money on the waist don't pour it. i will send it back

I ordered this compass to set up my weather station. Easy task. But I had to shake the compass to make it work. I understand that this is a very cheap compass. But he should have been able to handle such a minor task.

At the moment of my 15 minute use it shows accurately and everything looks as it should. Small and serves its purpose. I got a compass for free somewhere else, but it didn't read properly. Especially if you know the area you live in. luckily this one is accurate.

I never know where to go up or where to turn when you're going west and need to go south so this is a great compass. I mainly use it as an amateur meteorologist to determine where storms are going and where they are coming from. Personally, it will not improve my sense of direction. Nothing will do.

Bought for 7 year old grandson. We study maps at home school and he was interested in following directions with a compass. It's simple enough for him to read and enjoy, but functional enough to be precise. Highly recommended for those starting out with navigating and reading compasses.

This is a nice little compass that works great. The liquid inside makes it smooth. At the base of the compass is a hook to which you can attach a cord or some type of cord. I want it enabled from the start. It would be nice to wear it around your neck in the field. But overall I am very satisfied.

Does what it's supposed to do: magnetically points north. The liquid fill makes it sturdy and easy to read, and the luminous needle/pointer tip is an added bonus. A flashlight shot makes it easy to see in low/no light conditions. I wear mine on a string. It's more than just light and I forget it's there until I need it.

I have little experience with a compass but I can use it. This particular compass is very confusing as the needle changes frequently and can bend to the point where it touches the lower bezel. This can happen if you keep it level or on a flat surface. I'm happy with its size and weight, but I doubt I can use it over another compass, I'm looking for a better compass.
