The description specifically states that they are waterproof. It's a very thin layer of tissue that doesn't hold anything back. It doesn't cost $20 at all, I just use a cheaper and thicker blanket.

My beautiful baby has amazing poop. It's the only shell that doesn't leak her explosive liquid. It's comfortable for your sensitive skin, waterproof and easy to throw in the washing machine. I recommend taking 2 or 3.

Very disappointed with this cover, it is made from cheap polyester fabric with a very loose elastic which is overlocked on rather than hemmed. only cheap. I'll make mine out of better cotton terry and maybe return it. I really hope the changing pad isn't that bad.

This company actually makes them in a variety of colors to go well with what you find in your child's room. I've been using it on twins for 4 months now and they've been washed several times. Nice soft fabric. Especially good as it protects baby's skin from vinyl. It is made in the USA unlike many other cases of the same price or higher.
