Love these bedside/toilet lamps. They fully illuminate the entire bathroom (in brighter colors). The motion detector is excellent, when I go to the toilet it turns on. This is my second purchase and the only complaint will be about 4 months later when the light stops working. Yes, I changed the batteries.

The thing is cheap and brightens up my toilet. Nothing more to say. The motion detector has a decent field of view. My bathroom is small and the toilet is right against the wall and next to the door. I worried that I would have to hold it close to the front of the toilet so I could spot something and then risk urinating on it. But it detects motion when it's almost 90 degrees from the front of the toilet, even if the wall is directly in front of it.

Really like the idea and novelty of this motion sensor night light. A traditional night light works just as well, but this one is fun and colorful. It works great but the flexible cord you use to hang it on the edge of the toilet is too short so it falls to the ground when the husband lifts the lid. Because of this I can't use it to light up the toilet. Instead I had to put it on a shelf above the toilet which is disappointing. Although this lamp works excellently, unfortunately I cannot advise
