I've had fine, thin hair with 2c/3a curls all my life. I've tried volumizing shampoos, mousses, etc. for years with no success. When it came out I saw all the rave reviews and couldn't wait to try it as I love the other Color Wow products I use. I've tried using more/less/much more/no conditioner etc. All I have found is that it dries out my hair and makes it even flatter than without which is hard to achieve! This brings me to another rarely used expensive product that didn't work for me.

I am a Color Wow's Style fan of steroids that work better than any similar product I have used. So I ordered this hoping it would also live up to its marketing claims. (The ad features a model with drastically increased volume on one side of the head. They boast that heat styling isn't even necessary.) Unfortunately, my hair turned soft and greasy afterwards, like I hadn't washed it. For the record, I have thin hair, but there's a lot of it and it's chest-length. I thought I used too much…

This product shook me to death. I was expecting lots of volume, but all I got was flat, flat and flatter. The most interesting thing is that it completely changed the texture of my hair. It was smooth and shiny but super flat and my curls didn't stay in it. I tried twice just to make sure I wasn't having a hormonal surge. Then I went back to my old routine and everything was great.

I really love Color Wow products in general. I use the shampoo, cream conditioner, leave-in conditioner and root concealer, love them all. so i thought i'd give that a try. it just doesn't work for me. I watched a tutorial on their website but my hair doesn't style like the models do. that's why I gave it a lower rating. I'll keep trying this to see if I can figure out how to make it work for me. just because I love their other products.

I saw this product on Instagram and decided to try it. I have thin shoulder length hair. Basically every product gives me volume because it is so thin. The stuff I usually use is pretty expensive so I'd save money if it worked. Unfortunately it was terrible. My hair took a lot longer to blow dry which is a shame as that would have meant more damage. There was a little volume, maybe 30 seconds after blow drying it. Then he fell straight down.

Didn't work for me. I have long thin hair, no body. I saw it on the web but this model had very thick hair. However, the best that works for me is Marc Anthony Instantly Thick, it's not perfect. I have tried a few and will continue to try other products.
