They look durable, go well with my humidifier and seem effective. I can't tell any difference between these and Honeywell's other than the price is much cheaper. I think Honeywell raised the prices by a ridiculous amount last year because they figured their car owners would have to buy their own filters too, so I was glad to find them.

Honeywell humidifier instructions say to change the filter every three months but these filters don't even last a month. They no longer absorb water and become unusable. This only becomes noticeable when the water level in the tank remains the same after 24 hours because the water does not evaporate. Let's get down to business. Something is wrong with these. The factory filters lasted about 3 months of heavy use before becoming clogged with minerals. They become moldy, exactly the same conditions, after 1 week. If nothing has changed in our tap water, they are more susceptible to mold than factory water. This is a great deal at a fraction of the price of other products. My youngest gets nosebleeds when the air in her bedroom gets too dry, and running a humidifier year-round can be expensive considering the cost of some filters. They are perfect for moisturizing.
