early failure suitable for spares and accessories
Honeywell humidifier instructions say to change the filter every three months but these filters don't even last a month. They no longer absorb water and become unusable. This only becomes noticeable when the water level in the tank remains the same after 24 hours because the water does not evaporate. I fill my humidifiers daily, so it's easy to tell when one of them stops working because the filter isn't picking up water. I've never had this problem with other aftermarket filters for my two Honeywell humidifiers. I won't buy them again.
