This is a great mid-weight jacket to help your child get through the mid-Atlantic winter. I use the term "winter" broadly since we live in Virginia and winters are getting warmer. Good from 40 to 60 degrees. It's not windproof or waterproof, but it does a lot of good. Your child will outgrow it long before it wears out.

We ordered this jacket for our 16 month old baby a size 2T and it fits perfectly so I would say it runs small. Things we love: cute designs, nice comfortable fleece material, a hood that fits snugly around the head and keeps little ears warm.
