I bought this fleece to help my 9 year old son cover himself on various hikes. It fitted very well and worked great as a layer under his puffy jacket in temperatures above 20, but as a standalone jacket over a t-shirt he was chilly at around 55 degrees. I've been buying my son these Columbia fleeces since he was a size 3-6M and each size has increased from there. It has a long body but short arms.
