A simple belt that DOESN'T WORK!

I bought this belt (and another one that is exactly the same but in a different color. It had the name Colombia on it so I thought it must be good. WRONG! Firstly, it is It's not easy to cut to the right length at all. It's a matter of trial and error. DO NOT cut a lot at once or you'll end up with a belt that's too short. But there is a simple mechanism that secures the belt in place it's been around for decades or more. But in this iteration, it doesn't work properly. It's a simple little…

Avoid that junk on belts

First use: belt unfolded, plastic scratch guard removed from metal, belt passed through pant loops, belt inserted into buckle, then pin placed in closed position. The metal pin broke into 2 equal pieces instantly, silently and cleanly, just like other bad reviews describing the same thing. I have had Columbia products in the past and they have been of good quality. However, this band is not good.*Update: Since I was still at the window to return the band, I did it.
