This is a VERY nice coat. Continuous. High quality materials and design. I like that the hood is large and lined with fleece. The large hood means you can wear it over your hat and your head can still move freely. Columbia stuff is $ if you want quality.

It is quite warm, the thumb holes are great, the material is excellent quality. I love the big hood but my son hates it and the hood doesn't need to be pulled up or zipped in the front. I always check the information before buying, so it took me about 2 weeks to decide on this one.

My preschooler loves this jacket. It's lightweight but warm and water-repellent. It also washes well after spilling chocolate milk and honey on it. He loves that there are 4 outside pockets and one inside pocket for all his different treasures. The fleece-lined hood folds down easily when he doesn't want to wear a real hat. I love that it holds heat so well because I can use the trick of putting warm fleece out of the dryer underneath and the heat really stays on. I know it's not the cheapest…
