I was looking for a polyester hat with an all-temperature coating. This is a fleece hat. Nothing wrong with it except that it's thicker than the polyester I'm looking for. The flea headband area absorbs sweat which may be helpful for some but not for me. Overall it fits quite well (not too tight) and covers my ears.

, knowing that I have a big head. I wanted something warmer than my Marmot hat and I've always been a fan of the Columbia Omni-Heat. so it seemed like a logical choice. My Marmot hat fits perfectly and is a bit loose. This is tight and has no elasticity. So if you have a big head, you will feel uncomfortable after a while. The color also differs from the picture. I would call it powder blue which is lighter and less vibrant/saturated than what is shown here.
