Very comfortable, quick-drying and good length. Not to short! I bought one size bigger. I usually buy a large and get XL. I like them a little baggy and my buttocks/thighs are bigger. Wish they came in more colors!

Gorgeous shorts! I'm 5'1 and about 130 lbs. I received the MEDIUM and they fit perfectly. Pros: Ultra-light, comfortable, swim-friendly, backpack has a zipper. Cons: The front pockets are very shallow and the slick material makes phones very easy to drop/slip.

These shorts have no rebound. There's plenty of legroom and the inseam isn't too short - I'm 5ft 4in tall. If your stomach is bigger than your legs, you need to get bigger. I often wear M in shorts with an elastic waistband and here I definitely need L.

Favorite material and length. I went up a size as I have a hard time finding shorts in this material that fit me as I have more weight in the bottom half. The back fits well but the front is too big. These shorts are only suitable for those who have an apple shape. Don't worry if you're more like a pear.

I love it! I am 57 years old. an old one who loves to work outside in the garden and take care of my ducks and geese. Having worn denim shorts my entire life, I needed shorts that were lightweight and didn't look goofy or granny shorts. You are perfect! Cute and light, I'm ordering more in different colors. I'll live in it all summer!

Great shorts. Super comfortable, great, not too short but not too "mama" long, functional pockets. They're cool (like not hot) and adjustable with a drawstring. But they are oversized. I'm a regular size 10-12 and originally ordered a large (as usual because tight shorts are terrible). They turn out one size bigger. I have tried media and they are perfect. So I will definitely order a size smaller.

Columbia clearly needs to work on sizing. I ordered XL (5 inch inseam) as I wear a size 14 pant. When I opened the package, the pants were too small. I tried them and they were pretty tight. I also ordered a pair of Columbia PFG Backcast Water Shorts in the same size and they were huge. I am attaching comparison pictures. It's really disheartening that a company like Columbia has such a wide range in size. I am returning both shorts.
