highlighted. good for boxing

I bought a pair for karate classes with my young children. It is well made, lightweight and durable. We have fun with them.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Beautiful but short lived

Good product. However, after a few months of use, the laces started to snap. I use them about 3 times a week for about 1 1/2 hours per session.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Great product, light weight

Great product with good stitching. This is effective for new fighters, but for more advanced fighters the pads can be a bit weak when blocking kicks.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Requires socket

Good pads when not hit hard

I've only used them a couple of times and you can already see visible wear and some padding is starting to come out of the gaps near the seams. They're nice and light and the adjustable shoulder straps are great.

Pros
  • Great overall specs
Cons
  • thin

Lightest pads with good protection

I used them once in a muay thai class. These are the lightest pads I've used and offer good impact protection. You won't get the fatigue in your shoulders and arms like you would with heavy pads, but the workout won't be as good either. Half of the workout is holding the pads and building muscle endurance. The kicking guy wasn't one of our strongest kickers, so I wasn't too uncomfortable. I still think that based on the first experiences they will be decent against hard kickers too. Will theyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure
