Works as expected. When working with prototyping boards I use male/female jumpers most of the time, some male/male but never female/female. It's useful to have all the combinations, though, so having them all in one set is handy.

I started this today and already found a jumper that had no continuity between the sockets. First I messed up soldering the board and spent 30 minutes testing it until I decided to check the jumpers. I can't trust any of them at the moment, so now I have to test each one before using it. Don't waste your time with them. And the manufacturer/distributor shouldn't spend time creating and selling junk.

Many of these pins will not work or will only work if some force is applied to the wire/jumper. Some have worked first and then eventually failed after sitting down. I was used to the fact that jumpers just worked, and it wasn't until I spent hours searching backwards that I realized the problems I was having were related to non-working jumper cables.
