I wanted to buy a plain sweater, but this item fell out when I put the sweater in my shopping cart. God I'm glad I spent a few more bucks on this. My PSU doesn't have a power switch, so I would plug and unplug the main power cord a few times to allow the system to prime and clear any bubbles. A simple rocker switch made life a lot easier. If like me you have this item when you add a plain sweater to your cart, do yourself a favor and get yours instead.

Worth it because of the convenience of the button. I didn't get hot. The only problem was that the pinout was wrong. Contacts should be 4 and 5. I had 4 and 6. Just pulled it out and put it back to 5.

This switch is great for troubleshooting or DIY projects. The only concern is that the switch will heat up when the power is on. I would not recommend this for running PSUs for long periods of time. I'm not sure if you leave it running for hours and unattended it poses a fire hazard.
