A little uncomfortable.

I liked the belt because it came with three different sizes of belly button cushion to go under the belt. The material was soft and flexible but kind of uncomfortable for my baby. It was very large width and ended up moving everywhere. One time I took it off and the little cushion wasn’t even on his bellybutton it had moved out of position. I didn’t get this until my little one was two months so maybe if I had bought it sooner it would have worked better because he wouldn’t have moved so much.

Pros
  • I thought it was a little wider but that’s ok
Cons
  • May lead to skin rashes and infections

The absolute best. I was a skeptic at first.

My daughter’s pediatrician told me I could wait for the hernia to hopefully repair on it’s own or get a hernia belt. Looking at my daughters protruding umbilical cord, I decided I needed to do something now. Well, I wish I had taken before and after photos. I guess I bought this thinking it’s not going to work. Well, it worked. I bought it for my newborn when she was 2 months. I kept it on for the time frame they suggest and changed out the nubs as instructed. My baby’s hernia is gone. As long…

Pros
  • Made from high-quality materials ensuring durability and longevity
Cons
  • May cause the baby to be fussy and agitated

Not worth it good for me

Didn’t really end up using it. It goes away on its own so it wasn’t really worth it. Also it was not that comfortable for baby.

Pros
  • Colic & Gas Relief
Cons
  • May require frequent washing

Amazing! good for me

Amazing! My baby had a large hernia that sounded very watery. I used it for three weeks and it’s all gone; plus her belly button is no longer sticking out. Best Buy I’ve made.

Pros
  • Muy buena calidad 👍🏻
Cons
  • May not be aesthetically pleasing

Umbilical hernia belt

As long as the umbilical hernia is soft to push on, the belt has no use for it. As baby grows to 4-6 month and tummy muscle develops and the hernia gets pulled inside the tummy it’s own. The belt is just a myth but the muscle development does the job. Unless hernia is hard to push on then it needs a medical care. I bought it but didn’t use it because it was to thick for the baby to sleep with it plus learned from the pediatrician that it had no use for the hernia.

Pros
  • Helps promote healing by providing adequate support to the hernia
Cons
  • May cause discomfort in the caregiver

Useful WHEN MODIFIED

The belt itself is useless. Imagine trying to push down the umbilical hernia with the pillow on top, with your infant on their back, then trying to velcro the two sides together behind your infant's back WHILE keeping the pressure on the pillow so the hernia doesn't pop out as you're trying to secure the belt around them. It's impossible.HOWEVER, you CAN use the little belly button pillows that come with this along with some cohesive medical bandage, and that seems to work alright. Just forget…

Pros
  • I don't like it because it's too big for my baby belly
Cons
  • May lose its elasticity over time

The best one for baby umbilical hernias

My daughter was born with a hernia and I have been using a belt on her the whole time. But every time I take it off in a few days it starts popping out again. However, this belt is much more comfortable around her tummy. And the largest velcro piece is perfect for starting out it really gets the hernia back in. It’s been about two weeks and I will be switching over to the smaller attachment. I’m hopeful, and will update if it actually worked! The only thing I would change about this is the way…

Pros
  • Baby Products
Cons
  • May not be suitable for swimming

Will be returning this product

My 7 week old has a pretty significant hernia so I want to try this belt. My husband and I both absolutely hate the design. It is extremely difficult and sometimes impossible to get the correct placement. The Velcro adheres on the back side of baby so when your trying to tighten the belt it’s either sticking to the surface under the baby or the belt is moving out of place.

Pros
  • Provides optimum support to the baby's abdomen
Cons
  • May cause allergies in some babies

ADD TO YOUR CART ALREADY!

Don’t waste anymore time searching for the fix! YOU FOUND IT! We were told our son’s umbilical hernia would go away in 1-2 years and that a device like this was on old "wives tale”. So glad we didn’t listen to our Dr., but instead trusted our gut! This REALLY WORKS! 9 days and he’s healed!

Pros
  • Health
Cons
  • May not be suitable for outdoor activities

It works but the dr said oh no

It works! But the pediatrician didn't like it. Stopped using it after 4 weeks but I really think it made all the difference. Her belly button is perfect now!

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting - can be used for multiple infants
Cons
  • May affect the baby's posture

I'm not a doctor, but I highly recommend.

We have had two babies with hernias. We didn't use one on our older kid a few years ago. This one, we did.I wish I had one of these before. It reduced the time of my baby's hernia by several months, compared to the first child. He had no discomfort, and seemed to really like it.

Pros
  • Made with breathable fabric to avoid irritation and rashes
Cons
  • May cause discomfort after healing
