I wonder who designs the check hooks because I wouldn't put most of them right outside my house. It's also stainless steel versus plastic. The only downside to this design is that the tape tab hangs under the hook and is a little bit visible.

Everyone likes it. We even got a little extra to replace the plastic we had in the bathroom. It is great for towels, small bags and even jackets. It's really removable: we removed it twice without a trace. It is made of metal and therefore looks much better than the plastic ones. Pros: Easy to polish

I flipped two of these over and used them about 30cm apart to keep the cutting board upright against the wall of our fridge. Countertop-hugging refrigerator, 90º L configuration. When we tried to put the cutting board upright against the fridge wall, it often fell onto the countertop. Now that two of these hooks secure the top edge of the cutting board, it stays in place. A simple solution to an urgent problem.

I now have 4 of these hooks and they are all strong and good quality. They have no surface defects. I use them as towel hooks so they have minimal weight but don't bend when pressed hard to stick. One complaint - the hook comes with (2) strips that are very thin and see through. They work well on smooth surfaces but will not stick to wall surfaces with any texture. I recommend using a more typical foam core command strip if you are sticking to a textured wall.

The hook is broken and now I don't have a mirror. I heard a rumble from another room and found a broken mirror and hook a few feet away. The hook says it will hold 4 pounds, but my mirror probably weighed close to 1 pound. The adhesive strip also remained intact. I'm giving two stars because I liked the product before it failed and it didn't leave a mark on the wall. Just a token in my heart for my beautiful mirror, it didn't last long. I love this style and wonder why they don't seem to be more popular. they remind me of the cheap hooks you can buy at CB2. perfect if you prefer a modern decor. tips: do not use the tape that comes with the kit. Buy the white strips separately, they work better and are worth it. Also, I don't like the look of the tabs so I cut them off before applying.
